Step-by-Step Instructions: How to Diamond Paint
1. Open the package and check the contents. Make sure you have all the necessary items, including the canvas, diamonds, and tool kit. Use the inventory sheet to check the diamond gems. If anything is missing, contact us immediately at support@creativeserenity.co.uk
2. Lay the canvas on a clean and flat surface. The canvas will have a plastic film on it to preserve its stickiness. Do not remove this film all at once. Instead, section off the canvas using masking tape or washi tape. Start by finding the middle of the canvas and applying the tape. Divide the canvas into sections by adding tape vertically and horizontally. This will allow you to peel off the plastic film in sections without exposing a large area.
3. Start from a corner of the canvas. Peel back a section of the plastic film, cutting in the middle of each tape. Peel back a section to begin applying the diamonds to the canvas. Be careful not to cut the canvas itself.
4. Choose a color to start with and add a small number of drills to the diamond painting tray. It's best to work with one color at a time to stay organized.
5. Gently shake the tray from side to side to evenly spread the diamonds and align them in the grooves.
6. Use the wax to dip the tip of the applicator. This will help you pick up the diamonds. Alternatively, you can use tweezers to pick up the drills without wax.
7. Press the tip of the applicator tool onto the rounded side of a diamond.
8. Peel back the plastic film and carefully place the diamond onto its corresponding symbol on the canvas. Repeat this process until you have completed the diamond painting.
